Ahead of the 17th edition of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites, scheduled for June 12, 2027, we are thrilled to announce a major new feature designed to celebrate team spirit and passion among sports clubs: the new "HERO Team" ranking dedicated to amateur categories!
How does the "HERO Team" ranking work?
The team classification will be active across all three race distances and will reward the best teams in both the Men's and Women's categories:
- Men's Team: The ranking is calculated by adding up the 4 best overall times recorded by team members on the same course (minimum number required to qualify: 4 men).
- Women's Team: The ranking is calculated by adding up the 2 best overall times recorded by the team's female athletes on the same course (minimum number required to qualify: 2 women).
A total prize pool of € 10,000.00 for the best Teams!
To make the challenge even more exciting, the prize pool will be awarded to the top three ranked teams for each distance (60, 71, and 86 km) in both the men's and women's categories, according to the following breakdown:
- € 1,000.00 for the 1st placed team
- € 500.00 for the 2nd placed team
- € 300.00 for the 3rd placed team
Exclusive Promotion and Registration
To celebrate the launch of the Team Ranking, we are offering team participants a special discounted rate:
- "HERO Team" Promo Rate: € 120.00 per participant
- Promotional Period: From September 17 to October 17, 2026
Note for additional team members: Further participants can be added to the team even after October 17, 2026, at the standard entry fee specified in the regulations (€ 140.00 / € 150.00).
Participation Requirements
All licensed amateur participants and hobby riders are eligible to enter the "HERO Team" classification (Elite and U23 athletes are excluded). The team can be created and formed by either a sports association or a group of friends.
How to Register Your Team
The registration of the team and its participants must be carried out on the Datasport platform by a designated team coordinator.
For sports associations: does your team already have registered athletes?
- If your team already has 4 registered male or 2 female participants: The registrations already made are valid for the HERO Team ranking! They simply need to be assigned to the team you will create.
- If you are only a few athletes short of the minimum quota: You can complete your team (reaching the 4 men or 2 women) by taking advantage of the promotional rate of € 120.00 by October 17, 2026.
