THE 2021 BMW HERO SÜDTIROL DOLOMITES: THE PROGRAMME
The BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites kicks off on Saturday, 12 June 2021 at 7.10 a.m. – the women’s grid first, followed by the men’s grid. In line with the “RESPECT, STAY SAFE” protocol, access to the start zone will only be granted to accredited staff: the audience and supporters will not be able to see the start from here. On Saturday morning, the Dantercepies cable car will open at 7 a.m. and take you to Passo Gardena, where the first athlete should cycle past at 7.45 a.m. To avoid crowds, purchase your cable car ticket in the previous days at the Dantercepies valley station. If you want to see the marathon, social distancing, the heart of the “RESPECT, STAY SAFE” programme, is to be observed at all times. You can accompany the athletes’ progress along the HERO routes by respecting the 1-m social distance rule and by always wearing a mask. These rules must be observed during the night-time events and at the arrival zone, which means you will have to book your spot. You will need to show your booking and one of the documents mentioned at the start of the newsletter to be granted access.
