LESS THAN SEVEN DAYS TO GO TO THE OPENING OF REGISTRATION FOR THE HERO 2019!

It will be the tenth edition of the world’s toughest mountain bike marathon. It will be an occasion not to miss at any cost, especially for those who have made mountain biking not just a passion but a very style of life.

Registration opens at 20.00 on Wednesday 12 September and from there on the excitement grows as we go towards the 2019 running of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites! There will be 4,019 race start numbers available so remember to register as soon as possible. From this year, ladies who are registered with their national federation will be able to compete also over the 86 kilometres route. Also for the 2019 race it will be possible to register your own team, this provision only for the 86 kilometre route: every team will need to have a minimum of eight members (men and women combined) from the same club and with a Master category classification. The registration of the individual team members need not necessarily take place at the same time. It will in fact be possible to create new teams and modify the composition of such in successive stages, this by contacting the Organising Committee.
Again, in the 2019 edition the HERO Südtirol Dolomites will support Sporthilfe Alto Adige. All HERO bikers wishing to support this initiative will have the chance to start from the grids of their category right behind the Elite bikers. To support this cause when registering for the race on Datasport, as well as paying the registration fee it is necessary to choose the “Priority Start” option at a cost of 50,00 Euro.
