A GREEN EVENT

The environment really counts for us. After all it is our home. It is where we grew up and where we want ourt children to grow up too. We need to be aware that each and every action of ours impacts on our surroundings and it is for this very reason that the Südtirol Sellaronda HERO is to be certified as a Green Event. Is this just another of those eco-sustainable certifications? We retain that it is something more in that Green Events are actually organised thinking of and taking into consideration the natural environment in which they are to be held, so that by adopting ecological measures any impact is kept to a minimum. At the HERO we are doing our part by trying to encourage the use of public transport, using recycled paper for printing of various publications, and making available cuisine in which the products come primarily from our own region.
